Yesterday I didn’t write anything Sherman Brother’s related and wrote a brief post for my anniversary instead. Today, I am posting Sherman J and then Sherman K in a little while and will be back to normal tomorrow.
In the inaugural year of the Disney Channel there was a show called Welcome to Pooh corner which ran original episodes in the first few seasons of the then fledgling channel. I have only seen a few episodes of this show, seen is really too strong of a word. My friends children were watching the show a few times when I was a house guest there, It seems the Sherman brother’s wrote special songs for each of the show’s main characters that would play near the end of the program when that character was featured in the episode, I won’t say no is Eeyore’s song.
When there’s a hill
I have to climb
Although it seems too high
I hide my doubt
And start right out
And here’s the reason why
I won’t say no
I won’t say can’t
I won’t say I won’t try
I just say yes I can
And I get there by and by
I just say yes I can
And I get there by and by
When something new
Looks hard to do
I’m not afraid to start
I just begin
And lose or win
I try with all my heart
I won’t say no
I won’t say can’t
I won’t say I won’t try
I just say yes I can
And I do it by and by
I just say yes I can
And I do it by and by
I won’t say maybe
I won’t say no, not I
I may be slow
But this I know
I’m not afraid to give it a try
Give it a try, give it a great big try
So every time
You seek a prize
That seems too hard to win
The hardest part
Is how to start
Stop worrying
And just begin
And don’t say no
And don’t say can’t
And don’t say I won’t try
Just say yes I can
And you just might win that prize
Just say yes I can
Because a winner always tries
Spoken: Thank you for singing along with me.

What if anything is your favorite Disney Channel show? Is it easy for you to give up on something or someone?
I don’t think I’ve ever watched The Disney Channel. Maybe for a couple of minutes en route to finding something else to watch.
