Today is Tuesday. However, I really want it to be Windsday, since I am featuring the song, A Rather Blustery Day, from the 1968 Disney film, Winnie The Pooh and the Blustery day (which was later included in The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh in 1977) as my Sherman Brothers entry at A to Z challenge.

Pooh: Why yes and on the way I made a little hum and it goes something like this. Hum dum dum ditty dum Hum dum dum
Oh the wind is lashing lustily And the trees are thrashing thrustily And the leaves are rustling gustily So it’s rather safe to say
That it seems that it may turn out to be Feels that it will undoubtedly It looks like a rather blustery day, today
It seems that it may turn out to be Feels that it will undoubtedly Looks like a rather blustery day, Oh I know today is Windsday And this is how I know It is always on a Windsday That the winds begin to blow Oh the wind is lashing lustily And the trees are thrashing thrustily And the leaves are rustling gustily So it is rather safe to say
That it seems that it may turn out to be feels that it will undoubtedly looks like a rather blustery day, today It seems that it may turn out to be Feels that it will undoubtedly Looks like a rather blustery day today.

An excerpt of the film can be seen b y clicking here.
Other B songs by the Brothers Sherman include A British Bank from Mary Poppins, Beautiful Beulah from Summer Magic, and Busy Doing Nothing which was written and performed by Richard Sherman in the 2018 film Christopher Robin.
I hope you were blown away by this post and have a lovely Windsday.
I avoided the Pooh film because of the voice and picture of Pooh, who isn’t Pooh at all. But Busy Doing Nothing is something I’ve known forever…
